Parkwood, Fort Collins Neighborhood

The Parkwood neighborhood is a popular, family friendly, well established community in East Central Fort Collins. A mixture of ranch, bi-level and two story homes built between the late 1960s and early 1970s. This mid century architecture combined with quiet streets, towering, mature trees and large, private lots make Parkwood a renowned neighborhood. Residents enjoy access to Williams Lake, a community pool, tennis courts and community open space. Edora Park is a just a few blocks north of Parkwood. This 65 acre park has something for everyone: an ice rink, pool, disk golf course, BMX course, skate park, ball fields, tennis courts, horseshoe courts and much more.

Parkwood residents can reach all that is Old Town Fort Collins in just over 5 minutes. Don’t feel like driving? Hop on the spring creek trail and you’ll be on the south end of Old Town in no time. Just need to grab a gallon of milk? Sprouts market is just 2 blocks south of Parkwood. Excellent proximity to Poudre Valley Hospital is another plus for Parkwood residents. Parkwood East is technically a separate neighborhood but is often referred to synonomously with Parkwood. As the name implies, it is located immediately east of Parkwood. Driving from one neighborhood into the next you likely wouldn’t notice much of a difference. East contains the same mature trees and quiet streets but with slightly smaller lots and homes built mostly in the 1980s. Parkwood East does not maintain a Home Owner’s Association.
